Newsgator synchronization discontinued

Today I found that one of my RSS readers doesn synchronize well. My old version of Newsgator FeedDemon (it seems it was version 2.x) showed me that it is impossible to synchronize RSS data.

Don’t worry if the same problem occured to you. Just follow few steps the software offers to you. Easily upgrade FeedDemon to version 3 or higher and convert your feed to Google Reader format.

This issue occured because Newsgator synchronization platform will not be uvailable from tomorrow.

I finally have got time to finish technical jobs on www.cometos.com website. There were some not well – structured pages and this made me feel nervous for a long time. Finaly, I made CSS/XHTML validation on the website and it should taste better for Google. Browse free !

Most commonly – image links. Though SEO professionals say it’s better to write text link for site indexing, user can miss himself on the text-only website. I added 4 images to www.reksas.lt web, linked them with the external links. This gave me 10 more clicks each day on each link.

When a visitor finds your website, it’s important to make him pay attention to services you offer.

Finally www.reksas.lt website becomes more social and attractive. I added some new features:

- Facebook page daily news and tips. Lithuanians like Facebook network so I try the strategy to collect all native dog lovers online;

- Image banners in the left sidebar at Reksas website instead of text links. This resulted in more clicks to the Facebook account;

- Some banners linked to actual links are colored with high contrast colors.

- Jobs to do: to aggregate the most actual content from Reksas.lt posts and to create a free dog owner tips newspaper.

Reksas.lt – in Wordpress suite

I finally finished embedding www.reksas.lt website into Wordpress. This is going to be better solution for search engines. Also it will be interesting to see how much WP impactkeyword positions compared to old php/html website.

Starting to Finish Cometos Blog

Megatons of technical junk – we can call title of old-styled Twitter protocol. RT and DM – these are mostly used communication commands and they recently reminded me IRC admin commands.

It’s interesting whether these commands are left specially describing as light-weight software ? Or were there technical problems what Twitter programmers couldn’t solve ? Usually social media sites doesn’t have any special communication protocols. Maybe that’s the beginning …
