The answer – Y E S . I tried to add news section at the first page on the martial arts blog - www.voras-bjj.lt , we haven’t done this before . The result was amazing : we received new 102 clicks on “News” chapter (in lithuanian it’s called “Naujienos”) in one week, average – 10 clicks a day. And also additional daily 20 new clicks to other blog pages and posts.

News section is very important part of Your blog. This adds some dynamic feeling to the blog and allows easier and quick access for a user to the most important blog’s information.

Allways use news section or at the first blog page (for static blogs/pages) or try to separate most important/interesting posts (for dynamic posts/pages).

Answer: until web crowler detects the site and the keyword and dedicates the place for Your site among the keyword competitors. In my experiment: about 6h in local web market – google.lt .
